Between the Lines: Sherie M. Randolph & Gloria Steinem

Sherie M. Randolph an Associate Professor of History and African American Studies at the University of Michigan chronicles the life and activism of Flo Kennedy in a new biography titled Florynce “Flo” Kennedy: The Life of a Black Feminist Radical. Randolph and Gloria Steinem, founder of Ms. Magazine and the author of a new memoir My Life on the Road, will discuss their new books, black feminism and feminism more generally. Nikol Alexander-Floyd, Associate Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University, will moderate the discussion. A book signing will follow. @SchomburgLive | #BetweentheLines
