BEDLAM is an event that goes back to our roots - a straightforward fetish party without the trappings of themes or distractions, where play takes priority. The name comes from our founder's memory of fetish parties like this, the beauty of Dominance and submission that was misunderstood and even reviled by the vanilla world outside the doors. Ultimately, however, the party is still in its nascent form and it will be up to you, our attendees, to make it what it will be. In order to respect our guests privacy, pictures and videos are not allowed throughout the Dungeon, with the exception of the main stage & while under the Host's supervision, pictures may be taken by the people involved in the scene. Is smoking allowed inside the venue? Nope. However, re-entry is allowed (as many times as you want) in case our guests need to step out for any reasons, including smoking. Is coat check available? Yeppers :) Do you sell or serve alcoholic beverages? Paddles sells and serves non-alcoholic drinks such as: Sodas, juices, energy drinks, bottled water and more. We do not sell or serve alcohol, but you're more than welcome to bring your own poison ;) and drink responsibly. PS- Plenty of Bars & Liquor stores in the area. Do you sell advanced tickets? We try to keep things simple :) $20 cash at the door. Do you offer discounts? Yes! A 20% discount has been applied to Paddles regular admission fee - courtesy of BEDLAM....You're welcome! ;D Is it Gay/ Lesbian friendly? WE WELCOME ALL!!! Regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Is nudity allowed? YES!! Is sex allowed? Sex is not allowed on premises, but sexxy is!! ;D Is there dancing? You're more than welcome to dance to our music if you feel like getting jiggy with it ;) Do I have to Play? At our party you're more than welcome to mingle, play, watch, meet a potential play mate and etc...you don't have to do anything you don't want to, as we promote safe, sane and consensual. Is there BDSM/ Fetish furniture? YES!! Paddles NYC is a REAL 5,000 sq ft Dungeon equipped with all the goodies: Prison Cells, Suspended Cages, Bondage Chairs, Bondage Tables, St. Andrew Crosses, Suspension Points, Spreader Bars & Spanking Benches. Additional Suspension Frames & Suspension Tripods will be installed in the main room - courtesy of BEDLAM. Do you have a strict dress code? *Even though we encourage Fetish wear, BEDLAM does not enforce any type of dress code. So, if your thing is to come dress as an astronaut, do it! :)...Or if you wanna come and play after a vanilla dinner, movie or etc.. bring it! :) I'm new to the scene Whether your new or have been around, the Host is also a BDSM educator with a broad general knowledge of the scene, and would be more than happy to answer any questions guests might have & personally show you around the Dungeon. We are from out of town, want to play but didn't bring any toys. *Even though we encourage you to bring your own toys, Paddles does lend toys to some of our guests (pending availability). Who do we talk to if an issue arises during the party? Either the Host, or labeled Security & Dungeon monitors on premises, to which will promptly take care of any issues (if any). BEDLAM provides a HUGE fully equipped Dungeon, where guests have a safe place to indulge in sane and consensual play.
