BARS Presents Karaoke Fridays at Stonewall Inn, a benefit for Safe Horizon

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join BARS to help to raise money for Safe Horizon. Safe Horizon is the nation’s leading victim assistance organization. Their mission is to provide support, prevent violence, and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities. Their 57 programs are located throughout the five boroughs of New York City in court houses, police precincts, schools, shelters, and community offices. Safe Horizon’s first priority is the safety of those who seek assistance including the LGBT community. Their programs work with clients to meet their needs so they can look ahead to a safe horizon. Enjoy happy hour drink specials, karaoke and raffle for prizes drawn that night! Suggested donation is $10. All persons donating $10 or more will get a chance to enjoy the extended happy hour from 6-9:30PM. Bring cash for donation and raffle tickets.
