Based on true events, Kravetz's "sexy, erudite farce" (CriticalRant.com) follows the romantic travails of six outrageous characters on a quest to tame the irresistible beast that rules us all.
The cast of THE BEAST IN MY PANTS will feature SAG Award winner Catherine Curtin ("Orange Is The New Black"), Patrick Kerr (Broadway's YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, “Frasier”), Michael Goldsmith (TALES OF THE RED VIENNA at Manhattan Theatre Club), Suki Lopez ("Sesame Street") and Jay Leibowitz (The Acting Company). The actors are appearing courtesy of Actors’ Equity Association.
Director Jessi D. Hill (Associate Artistic Director, terraNOVA Collective), who helmed Wild Root's successful 2014 readings of THE BEAST IN MY PANTS, will direct the workshop.
Presentations will take place at The Alchemical Theatre Lab at 104 West 14th Street on Thursday October 29 at 3 pm and 7 pm, and Friday October 30 at 3 pm.
Casting is by Darragh Garvey with designs by Amy Sutton. Form Theatricals will General Manage.
