THE 5TH BLACK PRIDE FILM FESTIVAL: Ballroom Lives Matter

The 5th annual edition of the Black Pride Film Festival. Since this year is the 25th anniversary of the documentary film, "PARIS IS BURNING", one of the highest grossing documentary films of all times and the 25th anniversary of The Latex Ball and Madonna's song, "VOGUE", we thought it would be appropriate to feature a collection of short films that highlight the Ballroom Community. This will include a special screening of a documentary film called THE REBIRTH OF PARIS by Seven King. After the film, we will follow with a Panel discussion around the real history, the evolution and the future of Ballroom. We will also showcase trailers from Patrick Ian Polk's film BLACKBIRD and Seven King's film series, EDEN'S GARDEN! Both filmmakers will be present to meet, greet and talk. Special host for the evening will be Michael Roberson. As always this is a FREE event!
