Dare or Donate
with Peter Pandrew
Join us on Wednesday, June 10th at the venerable and historic Stonewall Inn -- the place where our modern-day LGBTQ rights movement began in the USA -- for a fun-filled after-work fundraiser to help support Bronx Pride 2015!
How can an after-work fundraiser possibly be fun? Add a splash of alcohol, a celebrity panel, and a sprinkling of the magic that is Peter Pandrew, and host Markus Kelle -- that's how!

Here's how it will work:
Pay $5 cover to enter the 2nd floor of the historic Stonewall Inn.
In return for your tax-deductible donation, you'll receive a ticket, and a card. Use the card to write down a dare that you'd like to see others perform (the Bronx LGBTQ Center and Destination Tomorrow reserve the right to review all dare submissions to ensure that nothing too outrageous will be asked).
The evening's hosts will call for a ticket number. Whoever is holding that number must go up on stage and answer a few simple questions -- perhaps about mental health or LGBTQ issues from the cast of Peter Pandrew -- and then get ready to be dared.
A dare will be presented. The dare can either be accepted, or bid out with a donation to Bronx Pride -- but beware! The audience will have an opportunity to counter-bid the selected individual (up to a limit).
If the audience wins the bidding, they (it can be an individual or group of indivuals) donate the winning bid amount for Bronx Pride, and the selected person has to perform the dare. If the person wins the dare, then they just donate the winning bid amount to Bronx Pride and we move on to the next person.
Who thinks of these things? (hint: a group of very, very overworked and tired individuals trying to raise $40,000 to produce this year's pride events in The Bronx)
We hope you'll also join us on Tuesday, July 14th for our first-ever Bronx Pride Awards Dinner, and of course for the 2015 Bronx LGBTQ Pride & Health Fair event itself on Saturday, July 18th.
Happy Pride!
