Miss Nerd New York Pageant

A first of its kind event, join us for a drag pageant that truly celebrates fandom of all varieties. Hosted by FiFi DuBois, former Rocky Horror cast member and a woman in possession of a huge crush on both Neil Patrick Harris and Warren Worthington III, join us for this combination of glamour and geekdom! Queens will compete in swimwear / day wear to show off their chic (Sheik?) summer looks, dish out talents more sickening than the T-virus in the talent category, and show us the poise and grace befitting a princess (Leia) in the evening gown and question and answer categories! Judges include: Jason Romas (from Rockbar NYC, Geeks OUT) Shane Cherry (from NYC Gaymers) Chris Adams (from Gay Geeks of New York) Awards will be given for fan favorite (doubling as 2nd runner up) as determined by audience participation, 1st runner up, and of course, the crowning of our first Miss Nerd New York! The winner will become a representative of the nerd community within gay New York!
