QUO presents Chapter Two: Reflection

Join us for the next concert in our 2014-2015 "Music That Leaps Off the Page" series: Reflection. Our second chapter reflects on the meaning of youth and love, from the ill-fated lovers depicted in Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture to Brahms’s love of Beethovenian form found in his momentous Violin Concerto. The concert features renowned soloist Lindsay Deutsch on violin and a world premiere of Juliet’s Farewell for narrator and orchestra by QUO cellist Bjorn Berkhout with fellow QUO member Navida Stein as the narrator, conducted by QUO assistant conductor Ian Shafer. We open with Rossini's Otello Overture. Advance sale tickets are 25% off -- only $15 through the day before the concert. Student/seniors pay only $10.
