Join us at The Ya-Ya Network on Monday, March 2nd for De-Escalation Education: Community Interventions to Conflict with Elliott Fukui from the Audre Lorde Project.
Together, we will brainstorm effective ways to de-escalate potentially violent & harmful situations that may put community members in danger. We will discuss the importance of verbal and physical de-escalation tactics that center our community's boundaries, physical and political restraints, as well as our need for healing centered approaches.
