Surrogacy Seminar & Expo for Gay Men presented by Men Having Babies

This all-day seminar and expo brings together medical, legal, financial, and psychological experts, gay parents and their children, surrogates, egg donors, and representatives from the world’s leading surrogacy agencies and fertility clinics to provide information, insight, and resources for gay men seeking to become biological parents through surrogacy. In addition to workshops and panel discussions on a range of surrogacy topics, attendees can participate in on-site private consultations with fertility clinics and surrogacy agencies and visit more than thirty booths to learn about their services. The event is hosted by Men Having Babies, the world’s leading nonprofit dedicated to helping gay men become biological parents through surrogacy. Since it was spun off from a program by the LGBT Center of New York, Men Having Babies has hosted hundreds of workshops around the world including Chicago, San Francisco, Barcelona and Tel Aviv. Men Having Babies provides the world’s only gay parenting financial assistance fund and the only rankings and reviews of surrogacy agencies and fertility clinics in the world. This year marks the 10th Annual New York Men Having Babies Seminar. The afternoon will also feature two panels open for free to the general public, including one on the state of pending legislation allowing paid surrogacy in New York State and the first-ever panel organized by Men Having Babies and Family Equality Council featuring teenage children born of surrogacy by gay parents. $10 in advance ($15 at the door) for the morning sessions Free for public for afternoon panels from 4-7pm
