Jefferson is the curator and host of Bare!, monthly in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. A sex educator and writer, Jefferson keeps a pseudonymous blog, One Life, Take Two, that details his life as a parent and pervert. He is a storyteller frequently seen on stages around New York and elsewhere, including The Moth, where he is a StorySLAM winner. He is also host of Foreplay! A Sexy Storytelling Open Mic, biweekly at the Delancey in New York.
Afterbirth Monkey is a comedy band based out of Astoria. They derive everything they do from intoxication and magic. You should exercise caution when crossing the street for tacos at the taco truck while intoxicated because Afterbirth Monkey will be waiting there and you will probably want to do it with them while you wait for your order.
Miss Mary Cyn is a classically trained actor and writer who takes off her clothes in bars. She's currently releasing a series of short ebooks entitled Kat McKinney, Wedding Slut. Under the name Alithea Howes, her published writing includes “Trick or Treat,†a story in the paranormal anthology Three’s a Charm, as well as My Lolita, her exploration of Vladimir Nabakov’s masterpiece from the titular heroine’s point of view, and a hilarious true life story of a sweater fetish in the anthology Johns, Marks, Tricks and Chicken Hawks.
Amber Drea is a writer, editor and storyteller living in Brooklyn, New York. Her short fiction and essays have been published by McSweeneys.net, Northvillereview.com, Hypertextmag.com and Another Chicago Magazine, among others, and she’s appeared on storytelling shows and podcasts, including Risk!, No Name, Sideshow Goshko and Local Stories.
Amanda Duarte is an actor and writer who lives in Brooklyn. She is the host of the monthly show Dead Darlings at Judson, in which writers and other artists present work that has been cut, rejected or is otherwise dead-on-the-desktop. She is a regular at comedy and storytelling events throughout the city, including The Soundtrack Series, How I Learned, So Into It and New Work New York, and is the cohost of Cojones at The PIT. She is also a busy voice actor who can be heard selling you many wonderful and useful products on television and radio. She is a fun-loving Taurus, once sat in Julia Roberts’ piss and is a hit at parties.
Polly Superstar is a twenty-first-century sex culture revolutionary. She has dedicated her life to the sexually progressive community as a latex fashion designer, a creator of arty, sexy parties and a spokesperson for sex culture. Born in London, England, in 1974, she is the daughter of a hot air balloon pilot and a sex therapist. She relocated to San Francisco—home of the sexual revolution—in 1999. Her award-winning event Kinky Salon takes place in a dozen cities across Europe and North America. She recently joined forces with Christopher Ryan, author of New York Times bestselling book Sex at Dawn, to create Kotango.com, a social network for global sex culture.
