The world famous Stonewall Inn announces Season Fourteen of STONEWALL SENSATION. Each Wednesday, a group of contestants performs and competes for the approval (and votes) of the audience members and celebrity judges. Every week, one contestant is eliminated until the new Stonewall Sensation is announced. The winner receives $1000, press exposure and a paid show at The Stonewall Inn. Contestants have the opportunity to receive weekly feedback from prominent industry professionals. Former contestants include: RACHEL POTTER ("The X Factor: Season 3" and B'way's Evita), CREIGHTON FRAKER ("American Idol: Season 11"), JAIME CEPERO (Ellis on "Smash"), PARSON JAMES (Back up singer for Scissor Sisters), KATELYN MILES (Member of ELEMENT on "The Sing-Off: Season 3"). Contestants must be available every Wednesday from September 24th through December 17th, which is the day the winner will be announced. Once a contestant is eliminated, he or she is no longer required to be there every Wednesday. This season's weekly judges include: Time Out New York's theatre critic and the President of the New York Drama Critics' Circle ADAM FELDMAN, Nightlife Diva LAVINIA DRAPER and Cabaret Artist/Winner of Stonewall Sensation: Season 2 ERIK SISCO. Each week will also feature a guest judge. The show is hosted by Bistro, MAC, and Nightlife Award winner BRANDON CUTRELL. If you'd like to audition, you MUST sign up at 9pm on Wednesday, February 12th. Sign-up begins at 9pm. Auditions begin at 9:30pm. You will be asked to sing a one minute cut of a song a cappella for the judges and the audiences! At the end of the evening, the top 15 will be announced and invited to participate in the competition. After Week One, contestants are assigned a theme for the next week. Contestants will be asked to sing with a track or with BRANDON JAMES GWINN, our pianist. The judges choose the contestants Week One. Each week after that, however, the audience chooses who will be eliminated. Therefore, it is important to invite your friends! Each audience member receives one ballot for each drink purchased at the bar. When the ballots are counted, someone will be eliminated each week. MUST BE 21 TO AUDITION.
