PLAY ON! A Shakespearean Songwriting Competition

Wyrd Theatre challenges 12 hopeful contestants to take one of the many song's written into Shakespeare's plays and turn it into an exciting, modern, and fun piece of music. The contestants will have 1 MONTH with their randomly assigned text before performing their song before a panel of judges in the hope of winning a bar tab at The Stonewall Inn, the opportunity to have the winning song featured in Wyrd Theatre's next Shakespearean Production, the Play On! Trophy, and of course the title of The Bard's Bard. This competition will be used as a fundraiser and kick off for Wyrd Theatre's Winter/Spring season. $10 suggested donation at the door and 2 drink minimum!
