A SHINING HOUR is a solo debut of one of the most exciting new voices to come to NYC, soaring through a catalog of songs ranging from Harold Arlen to Mariah Carey. With a jazz ensemble backing her, Alexa will bridge the gap and strip down the genres providing a truth that every performer knows, “Being Good Isn’t Good Enough.” Alexa Green is sure to wow with her seamless vocals and a glimpse into her heart showing us that you don’t have to travel by bubble to rise above. Alexa Green in "A Shining Hour" plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) September 11th, 2014 at 9:30p.m. Mitchell Walker is the Director/Creator of "A Shining Hour" and joining him will be Dylan Glatthorn as Musical Director/ Arranger and on Piano as part of a four piece jazz ensemble featuring Daniel Bailen (Bass), Andy Rinn Martinek (Drums), and Syberen Van Munster (Guitar).
