That event is The Imperial Court of New Yorks Night of a Thousand Gowns, a black tie dinner dance and coronation ball. This year is our 25th Anniversary serving the community and our beneficiaries this year are The Ali Forney Center for homeless LGBTQ youth and The Trevor Project, a national suicide hotline for LGBTQ youth.

This year is our 25th Anniversary serving the community and our beneficiaries this year are The Ali Forney Center for homeless LGBTQ youth and The Trevor Project, a national suicide hotline for LGBTQ youth.
Night of a Thousand Gowns is more than just a dazzling display of regal glamour, it is an opportunity to celebrate the LGBT community, and in particular, the colorful cross-dressing segment of that community. Last years event was attended by close to 1,000 attendees and raised a substantial amount for our beneficiaries. In its twenty-five year history the Court has donated over a million dollars to worthy LGBT, HIV/AIDS and youth enrichment related causes.
On this our 25th Anniversary we celebrate the spectacular Reign of Emperor XIX Jack & Empress XXIV Farrah Moans & at midnight we crown Imperial Crown Prince Royal Vanity Society & Imperial Crown Princess Royale Pepperica Swirl as Emperor XX & Empress XXV! A MILESTONE in our Court's history!!
