Extreme Close Up is hosted and produced by Dandy Darkly:
DANDY DARKLY (writer/performer Neil Arthur James) is New York City’s world-renown storyteller of tawdry tales of sex and death, supernatural sleaze and homosexual horror! He continues to be an eloquently filthy darling of New York’s downtown arts scene with critically acclaimed variety and solo productions at Dixon Place, the Slipper Room and the C.O.W. Theater and down under the infamous Dick Dock in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Dandy made his international debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2013 with his solo show “Dandy Darkly’s Gory Hole!” and amassed rave reviews with his “utterly unique” and “hypnotizing” style of cabaret storytelling.
“This is how ghost stories should be told!” MUST SEE The Stage
“Macabre. Satirical. Unlike anything else at the Fringe.” **** Time Out London
“A shuddering, juddering climax of orgiastic transgression!” **** The Edinburgh Reporter
In 2014, Dandy Darkly returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with his brand new solo show, “Dandy Darkly’s Pussy Envy!” Come see the softer side of Dandy as he espouses upon the fairer sex with all new tales of womanhood, pop culture goddesses, dear old mummies and the gay male obsession/revulsion of… well you get it. Find out more on Facebook, Twitter @dandydarkly or www.dandydarkly.com. Scare you there, Edinburgh!

She is a graduate of the theater and dance program at Trinity College in Hartford. www.jeanettebonner.com
Her solo show, "Love. Guts. High School," is about chasing one boy obsessively through high school. It's about discovering how your high school experience affects one’s identity and influences adult ideas of love. Ultimately it's about liking yourself more than the object of your affection.
TANESHA M. FORD is a writer, actor, poet and producer. Tanesha is also the curator of FOR de ARTS, a new artistic organization whose mission is to produce and create theatrical experience for and by women, minorities and the LGBT community. Her work over the years has encompassed everything from Shakespeare in Clarke Park, Philadelphia to performing Lucid at The Cherry Lane Theater, New York. Tanesha is a member of the Mirror Repertory Company, WOW Cafe Theater, and a participant of the Greensboro Arts Alliance. After receiving her degree at Florida A&M University in theater, she continued her training with Robert Guillory in Los Angeles, George Dicenzo in Philadelphia and New York, and currently with Sabra Jones McAteer in New York.

LUCIE POHL is a comedian, actor, writer and solo performer. “As a performer she is unflappable. Hilarious." NY Theatre Guide. Lucie received her MFA in Acting from the University of the Arts in Berlin. US film credits include David Chase's Not Fade Away (Paramount Vantage), Andy Fierberg's El Cielo Es Azul (Vox3 Films), Rosa von Praunheim's New York Memories, Must Love Death (Winner NY Horror Film Fest), a.o. US Theatre credits: Three Graces (Immigrant's Theater Project / 3-LD), Alma Mahler: Widow of the 4 Arts (The Los Angeles Theatre), Red Flowers in the Snow (Roy Arias), Vocal Migrations (LaMaMa ETC.). Lucie performs regularly all over NY with her sketch comedy duo Rich & Famous (on the in$ide). Find out more info at www.luciephol.com.
Her solo show “Hi, Hitler” is the tragically funny TRUE story of a German-Jewish immigrant girl who is born into a family of wild, unpredictable, overly intellectual, uber-political German artists where drama is a religion and normalcy is taboo. At age six she is fascinated by Hitler, thrilled by anything normal and banal and day dreams of row homes and stay-at-home moms. All she wants is to be like other kids. But things get even crazier when her family, the self proclaimed "Pohl Circus", moves from Hamburg to downtown New York. Learning English, becoming her parent's translator, and making a new identity for herself are just some of the challenges Lucie has to overcome, but no matter how hard she tries there is one thing she can't shake: the alien in her. Part gritty Hip-Hop-New-York-and-part-Goethe-loving-over-thinking German-Jew, Lucie takes us on the hilarious and heartbreaking search for a label that fits.
Hi, Hitler debuted at the 2013 Women at Work Festival at Stage Left Studio in New York in October and went on to play at the 2013 Estrogenius Sola Voce Festival, 2013 Emerging Artist Theater One Woman Standing Festival, Dixon Place Mainstage Series, and the Charm City Fringe Festival.

MAN-EE CHAMPAGNE (Jeff Catlow-Shea) moved to NYC in 1998 to study acting and pursue a career in the performing arts, a lifelong passion. He spent time studying at the Lee Strasberg Institute, TVI Actors Studio (sit com and soap opera acting!) and private coaching with Debra Wiley, Michael Margotta (acting) and Leslie Giammonco (voice). He has worked in a variety of roles over the years, including Brighton Beach Memoirs, Tommy in The Normal Heart and He in the Loveliest Afternoon of the Year as well as occasional gigs in corporate industrials, independent film and extra roles. He enjoys trailing in the fabulous wake of MargOH! Channing’s whirlwind life of cabarets, clubs and other stages. He has played the role of MAN-ee since the early days of The MargOH! Channing Show on MNN network (where he was also producer, photographer and editor) and is thrilled to continue playing MargOH!’s Gayiancée on this Tipsy journey.
"MargOH! Channing Is Tipsy" is a gin soaked romp through the life and times of this often demented, often glamorous and always drunken Diva as she (with MAN-ee Champagne's jockstrap'd support) tackles topics such as rape, incest, politics and the one thing we all have in common: dysfunction! Comedic monologues, original music and sloshy standards, this brassy boozy chanteuse and her glitter dipped gayiance will pop your cork with love, laughter and song.
