Blondes have been on our radar for a couple years now via their releases on RVNG which brilliantly bridge the gap between indie psychedelia and space techno. We really feel like they took things to the next level with their second album "Swisher," which has been our most played record of 2013. Essentially all of the tracks on this album were recorded live in the studio using the same set up they use on tour, so we had to invite them to throw down at The Bunker finally. Do not miss their RA podcast (linked below), which also got many listens at The Bunker HQ.

Rrose released three 12"s and an album (with Bob Ostertag) on Sandwell District in 2011, and moved on to start her own label, Eaux. After presenting her North American debut live set at The Bunker last year, and hearing many of her excellent DJ podcasts, we've been waiting for the right night to present her DJ set, and tonight is that night.

Now Austria-based, Tin Man was born in Los Angeles to Finnish parents and now holds citizenship to both Finland and the USA. He has been making a reputation for himself over the last five years, first via a series of classic house influenced 909 driven releases for Keys of Life, a sub label of famous Finnish imprint Sähkö recordings. His work started to take a darker more cold wave influenced shape in 2008. In 2012, Tin Man released "Neo Neo Acid" on the Acid Test label. This was a return to the dubbed out acid of his earlier releases, and one of our favorite releases of the year. Tin Man's sets have always delivered at The Bunker, and tonight's full on acid set will be aimed straight at our heady dancefloor.

Kondaktor aka Slydex has been crafting the decks for almost a decade establishing himself as a prominent figure in the Athenian party scene. His dj sets vary: from deeply techno to sleazy, dirty and funky; from comfortably dark and ambient to uncomfortably sensual and grimmy. He enjoys mixing different styles and trying different sounds each time: from industrial techno to chicago house and back. In the record label that he co-owns, Modal Analysis, the releases are a blend of modern techno with experimental approach in order to promote the new sophisticated sound coming from Greece. The label's gloomy aesthetic examines the structural impact of sound within space. In the end of 2012 he made his debut release as a music producer with a cassette at the Seattle based Further Records under the alias of Kondaktor. Kondaktor's distorted approach enhance a mix of experimental tonalities that resemble those coming from a concrete mysterious setting, with electroacoustic influences, build in a low-fi aesthetic. In actual spaces, he has been organizing the "Reform" party series in Athens along with fellow DJs and he has recorded vocals for several different projects.

She brings her loyal dance followers to the floor with her infectious, soulful DJ sets that intoxicate dance floors everywhere. After collaborating with Hercules and Love Affair for two albums, she decided to part ways to choose her own musical adventure.

Mike Servito is from a very special yet temporary and partially lost fertile crescent of techno / house / party DJing. It was a time when raves were still a fresh idea, almost felt like a revolution, and DJs like Claude Young, D Wynn, Derrick Carter and Mike Huckaby were informing an upcoming generation. If you look directly to that inspired generation you will find the lost threads of Detroit Techno, House and beyond, you will find a group of DJs with insanely deep mixing skills, the ability to rock almost any kind of party with an improvisational approach that is so skilled it makes everything seem so well thought out that even they don't know where their set will go. But, it will take you there! In the future, this special generation of deep midwest mixers will be remembered and revered as the wizards they are, long after the trendy players have lost their luster. Mike Servito's upfront dirty deep and bitchy taste has had an impact on Detroit nightlife for over a decade. Moving to Brooklyn, Detroit's loss has been our gain, as he has found a proper home with a new residency at the Bunker, and worldwide representation from Beyond Booking.

While shopping for vinyl at a record store, Ryan Smith met Ron Like Hell, a veteran DJ of 19 years. Both excited to meet another like-minded gay individual into timeless musical sounds, past and present, they were inspired to work on a project together. As a result, in partnership with Ashton Anders, the wildly successful Rocket was born at The Hose in NYC's East Village. Since this event they've gone onto create the Soffitta70 parties in Williamsburg, Brooklyn as well as Sprocket, a large-scale art/music warehouse party in collaboration with Spank. 2-years ago while on hiatus they got a call about an open night that needed to be filled in the weekend ahead for a one off. They knew it could go late and had to think of a name to convey the idea of a late night party and fill the place in less than a week - with that Wrecked their new monthly at National Underground was born with the night being a massive success. Over the past two years they've made it their mission to book solid underground talent to express the changing tides in the gay underground. In the past five years, they've played Berlin, London, Oslo, Copenhagen, Bucharest, Pittsburgh, NYC, Provincetown, Minneapolis, San Francisco, where they DJed for Honey Soundsystem's Patrick Cowley commemorative party and most recently representing the underground on the decks of the legendary Saint at Large Black Party . Currently, Ron is working on music and remixes while Ryan is working on a label, Discaire Records, with 3 other gents while working as a booking agent. The duo is always cooking up some exciting new projects and surprises.
