Geeks OUT Presents BAR TREK: Into Drunkness, a cosmically geeky bar crawl and scavenger hunt through the gay bars of NYC. Teams of geeks will compete for prizes by drinking up at a series of participating bars and completing photo-challenges to earn points. Grab your friends! To participate in Bar Trek, you'll need a team of about 5 people. Use this online form to register your team:

Important: Think of a cool team name!
If you don't have a team, Geeks OUT can connect you with other participants. Just submit your information with "Solo" in the team name and we will do our best to match you up.
Each participant should bring $25 to put in the group "kitty" for drinks.
THE STARTING LINE
Teams are to gather at Bar-Tini starting at 4:00. Meet. Greet. Drink. Talk sass. Stare each other down...and get ready to race! Organizers will be on-hand to answer questions and get everyone ready. You'll receive a list of participating bars and challenges. The starting shot will be fired at 4:30 sharp!
THE COMPETITION
Each bar on the Bar Trek map will be offering a drink special to our participants. This drink special will serve three players for around $10. Drink it! Then, complete a photo challenge at the bar and tweet it @geeksout #bartrek. There will also be scavenger hunt challenges for your team to complete between bars.
THE FINISH LINE
The final challenge will be EATING PIZZA at Boxer's in Chelsea at 8:00PM! Even if you didn't participate in the Bar Trek, you are welcome to join us as we recount epic tales of our adventures, share photos, and award prizes!
