Jonathan Whitton (Bistro & MAC Award Winner, HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH) continues his critically lauded concert residency with guitarist Aaron Jones at Don’t Tell Mama. BLACK SHEEP CARNIVAL will play once a month through 2013 with continuing dates scheduled for Friday, June 7 @ 7:30PM and Monday, July 8 & August 5 @ 7:30PM. Tickets are $10 plus a two-drink minimum.

BLACK SHEEP CARNIVAL is billed as a “monthly evolving freak folk alt-cabaret” drawing on song selections from his critically acclaimed, sold-out 2012 concert series, THE FREE RESIDENCY, plus new material which will change monthly throughout the residency.
Musical selections for BLACK SHEEP CARNIVAL will include songs from a rotating, eclectic group of contemporary musicians: Kate Bush, Michael Callen, Amy Correia, Kate McGarrigle, Patty Griffin, Sufjan Stevens, John Vanderslice, & Rufus Wainwright, amongst others.
