The fight for equal rights for the LGBT community is one that has seen triumph over the last few years. From marriage equality, to adoption, to funding for LGBT homeless youth and more, we have fought and won. We now have the opportunity to elect a democratic mayor who not only fights for LGBT issues, but all issues facing our community.
Join Stonewall Democrats of NY, Gay City News and co-sponsors Gay & Lesbian Independent Democrats, Jim Owles Liberal Democratic Club, Lambda Independent Democrats and Lesbian and Gay Democratic Club of Queens for the official LGBT Mayoral Forum for the 2013 Democratic Primary. Hear from all the Democratic mayoral candidates including Sal Albanese, Public Advocate Bill de Blassio, Comptroller John Liu, Speaker Christine Quinn and Bill Thompson. The topic of the forum will not only address LGBT equal rights, but all issues that effect our community.
Doors will open at 6:30PM and the forum will begin at 7:00PM.
The forum will be held at Baruch College's Mason Hall, 17 Lexington Avenue and 23rd Street. The entrance is on 23rd street. This is free to attend!
