YoHo Artists announce the 10th Annual YoHo Artists Open Studios this April: Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st from noon to 5pm. This free event offers a rare opportunity to tour the creative studios of professional artists, artisans, musicians, and creative new media specialists within the YoHo complex.
YoHo is a community of dozens of creative professionals located in the historic Alexander Smith Carpet Mills industrial complex in the heart of Yonkers, at the footstep of NYC. Since the late 1980's, the artists of YoHo have been opening their studios to the public. In the past ten years, this annual event has become one of the largest Open Studio tours in the greater NYC metropolitan area. Visitors from all walks of life gather each spring to view new works in a remarkable array of disciplines as well as meet the creators.
All studios are conveniently located in a single set of buildings with easy parking and elevator access. Live music, presentations, food, drink, and other amenities will be available for visitors to enjoy as they explore this creative community.
