Curator: Jersey City based artist and curator, Ricardo Osmondo Francis
Featuring work by: Willie Baez, Uta Bekaia, Derin Defield, Monica Holder, Ricardo Osmondo Francis, Seth Ruggles Hiler, Jae Quinlan, Alex "Aukotron Lutomirski, Joya Angola Thompson, Cristian Tonhaiser, and Mark Vinsun.
Performance by spoken word artist Kevon Simpson at 4 PM
Since 1987 World AIDS Day brings together people from around the world to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and demonstrate international solidarity in the face of the pandemic.
This exhibition celebrates life, hope, and possibility despite the effects of HIV/AIDS worldwide. Human nature, spirituality, and the continuum of existence are themes explored by these artists and the works in the show are both personal and poetic.
