Featuring Hunter Foster, Arielle Jacobs and Alexandra Silber
This season's INNER VOICES features three new music theater jewels by Martin Moran & Joseph Thalken, Victor Lodato & Polly Pen, and Nilo Cruz and Jim Bauer. Each uniquely different from the other, these dramatic musical monologues blend into a rare and unusual evening of storytelling.
In BORROWED DUST we are introduced to George Richardson (Hunter Foster) on his cathartic return from his boyhood home after the death of his younger brother; to Sara Jane (Alexandra Silber) in ARLINGTON while in her living room awaiting her soldier husband's coming home; and to Farhad (Arielle Jacobs) in FARHAD OR THE SECRET OF BEING, a young girl raised as a boy in Afghanistan who has reached puberty and must face the reality of going back to being a girl.
