According to recent scientific reports, there may be between 8 billion and 13 billion life-bearing planets in our galaxy alone. With numbers like that we will certainly encounter living beings from outer space someday. When we do, what will they look like? What special parts will they have, and how will they "do it?" Will we find what they do sexy, incomprehensible or just plain gross? Harringer's story is accompanied by Thorson's mostly CGI video sequences, which vaguely illustrate the fantastic tale about auto-eroticism as performance for curious, sex-positive alien anthropologists.

Sing Siren Song begins in a bright but homogenous commune of bird-women sirens. Amongst many colorful couplings is a silent and solitary siren. This siren seeks more than a mirror and craves transcendence from her being. In desperation she calls into the sea for a nocturnal bath of nine waves, a custom from La Lanzada Beach famed since pagan times for its curative powers. The siren is overwhelmed by its own song and becomes consumed by its own mouth into a vibration of pure color without form. The waves gain color and then they are both transformed into something other, a mesmerizing void that builds towers in another dimension and becomes a bridge to another being. Times slows, the drama fades. There is nothingness once more, yet nothing is as before.
