FAG CITY

FAG CITY is a reading series organized by Max Steele, focusing on highlighting queer writers and performers. I'm very excited to be hosting SAEED JONES and CHRISTOPHER STODDARD at the Dixon Place Lounge for an evening of readings and drinks on May 31st, 2012 at 9:30pm A 2011 Pushcart Prize Nominee, Saeed Jones received his MFA in Creative Writing at Rutgers University Newark. His poems and essays have appeared in publications like Lambda Literary, Hayden's Ferry Review, StorySouth, Jubilat, West Branch & The Collagist. His chapbook When the Only Light is Fire is available from Sibling Rivalry Press. His blog is For Southern Boys Who Consider Poetry. Christopher Stoddard is the debut author of the novel, White, Christian, selected by the American Library Association for their 2012 bibliography of LGBT literature that exhibits commendable literary quality.
