15 years
I have been going to Paddles for the past 15 years, ever since I was in college. It has always been hit or miss. If I go one time and get tons of action, the next time I get no action. Like I said, it's been like that for 15 years. I went last month got nothing but went in October and got tons. But the mix of guy is incredible. I love this place
open for parties
I found a party on A4A that was taking place here. I guess promoters can rent the space. Anyway, it was $22. This place is small and dark. Two big rooms with guys playing and there a couple of dark corners to get some privacy if you want to have more of a private experience. The upstairs lounge area needs newer furniture (get rid of the couch with no cushion). When I was there there was no BDSM type stuff, just guys walking around totally naked except for their shoes. No showers, glory holes, steam, etc just guys looking for sex. The crowd was mostly white and older than 35, I'd say. There were 3-4 black guys. I got lucky and found a hot dude to have fun with and that made my experience. There are condoms and lube available. Don't know how the last reviewer can tell if someone has AIDS...that seems weird. lol. Use the gps to find the address in Chelsea and then look closely for an entrance under a set of stair steps. I stood outside confused for ten minutes before I located the entrance.
Paddles / Jacks of color - Skip it!
Last night I tried the JOC nite at Paddles for the first time. Paddles is a basic sex club - no showers or rooms & only 1 bathroom. Its in a basement w/ a couple of play areas on one floor and another area upstairs that is a small lounge....the place could use a real good cleaning to start with. As far as the JOC aspect....there were about 8-12 guys(75% black) 80% of the guys were obviously HIV poz & none were using condoms or having anything remotely considered to be "safe sex". You are better off heading to one of the bathouses in NYC with more men & more facilities and shower & steam facilities for the same price. Its surprising that in NYC there really are not any first class clubs to go to....I've lived in NYC a long time and I have never seen something so miserable as JOC & Paddles.
