A landmark in the village with a devoted set of regulars
This Christopher Square bar has been a fixture of the neighborhood since Stonewall. Don't mind the wagon wheel chandeliers, just grab a seat at the bar and make a new friend. Things can get a little wild on Thursday nights. DJs John Cameron Mitchell and Amber Martin have recently spun.

Love this barFrom a different point of view, I am a big fan of older gents and I always seem to meet someone here. The place is nothing special to look at and it does seem like there are cliques, but I usually have a good time. I will say the burger is good, not sure about some of the reviews re how cheap the place is, I did not see it as that. I stop in once every couple of months as I do not live in the city. I almost always stop in when I am in town though. - more (73)
