What we say
Hell's Kitchen hot spot
This lounge bar attracts a large crowd of beautiful boys and has become the spot in Hell's Kitchen. The layout is funky and is dominated by small couches and tables with groups of friends socializing. The music is always loud, the martinis are strong and food is served up until midnight daily. Be sure to check out Thursday night's kegger party and do a beer bong.

I absolutely love love love the decor, and the food is pretty good (for bar food). It will get crowded, but I have never been uncomfortable. The music is always hot and ultra-lounge-y, prices are average

Sadly, Therapy has become too popular among the young and bitchy. It really is a "scene," NOT a comfortable neighborhood bar to meet locals. G is now Therapy; Chelsea is now Hell's Kitchen. This blows. Go to The Ritz for more interesting and friendly guys.

I really liked this place, it was hip and cool, and centrally located. The crowd was on the younger side, but a nice mix of clientele. My only caveat was the load overbearing show, granted it was pride weekend, but the show was so loud and the volume of the drag queen and singers overtook the whole bar and was annoying

This attracts a youngish, well-dressed, upscale crowd in an attractive setting. Except upstairs, there doesn't appear to be a bar as such; instead you get your drinks at a service area and sit on couches or along a long, thin table. The drinks were surprisingly strong and before eight PM on weeknights they're 2 for 1. Not for everyone, but a pleasant, popular spot that was busy even on a Tuesday. Your younger friends will love it.

Therapy is a beautiful bar that feels more like a ski challet in Vail than a Manhattan bar. They have a fireplace, skylight and great drinks. Once it gets a little crowded the bar is very hard to navigate and becomes very uncomfortable.
