I visited Secret on 01/30/09 with some friends . This was our first time there, even though we have to wait until midnight before we got in. I must tell you it was worth the wait. The go go boys, all 3 of them, were great and know how to work up a sweat. I was not disappointed but surprise of the diversity and the hard bodies in attendance. I am sure that my friends felt the same, we were happy to be there. I am already looking forward to visit it again.
Secret is finally out
When I first visited on a Summer Friday night it was DEAD, but this North-Chelsea lounge has really taken off. The former owners of Hell (and the recently closed Big Cup) have transported some of the same velvet-loungy feel from their former Meat Packing District establishment to the new neighborhood. It's not quite as dark--or small as Hell was.
