Is always pack with hot boys, starting with the bartenders and security personnel. Music is always fun and drinks are affordable. Every time i visit NY i make sure I start my nights at G bar

Another fav of mine. I go here regularly the place is fun, awesome circular bar. Bartenders are usually always shirtless and some go go boys there as well. I know Brandon the bartender, see him hes a great guy!

Can get really crowded and noom to walk but hey all that body to body rubbing just to get to the rest room might get u worked up lolol but for the most part great drinks. music is festive and will make u wanna shake ya ass but once again no dance room since this isnt a club..

It's a lounge! Unless you're going with a group of people for you to drink with and meet other groups with, it can be a little overwhelming. Nice place and good music! STIFF DRINKS!!!

This is a bar I return to time and time again. It's in a good location. I can hang out for a few hours or meet friends there for a drink before going elsewhere. It can get busy on weekends or on holidays, but but the door guys usually do a pretty good job of keeping it comfortable. The crowd has changed a little over the years with fewer "Chelsea Boys" and more "regular" types. But the bartenders are still the hottest anywhere... ;)

G BAR: BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING

This is a great bar--bartenders are cool, friendly, and the place is very nice. I have been going for 10 years. BUT, I recently was stopped at the door by a guy wearing shades, he said to me: "ID." I showed him my driver's license and he scanned it into a device. I asked him what he was doing and that he should tell people that our ID will be scanned before doing so. He looked at me like I was a PAIN IN THE ASS and said: "I can delete it from the scanner and you can leave." First, this is not the usual friendly greeting that G door staff usually gives. He refected poorly on G. Second, WHY are our DRIVER'S LICENSES/ID's being scanned and how do we know that the information is held securely? SOMEONE HAVING YOUR DRIVER"S LICENSE IS A POTENTIAL PROBLEM FOR IDENTITY THEFT. CAN G TRUST THE RUDE BOY AT THE DOOR TO GUARD THIS INFORMATION??? G: STOP SCANNING ID'S and REDUCE YOUR LIABILITY!!!

This place was pretty good, very clean, cute and trendy and dead as a door nail on a Monday guess that's the scene in NYC. But other than that, drinks are as expected in the 12-14 range and nice lounge area to sit in.

Love the space and the music, but don't plan on going in if you don't want to get bumped into, to say the least. Plenty of cute alcoves and couches to enjoy, but it can be a bit difficult to get to the bartender some evenings!

G is an institution and after all these years it really has never changed. Now, its a great place to meet friends and chill out watch the crowd go by. The crowd isn't as pretty as it used to be, but the experience is just the same.

G seems to be the place that people go when they don't know where to go. This usually means that you can never predict the crowd, but it's always interesting! I always enjoy it and that cutie waiter William is to die for!

A bit past its prime

This onetime staple of Chelsea can still occassionally be fun, but is pretty much past its prime. As you stand around its famous circular bar, even when it is packed, you'll quickly notice the same people circling around cruising you. The bartenders are still hot.
