It's seedy, there's no question about it, but the drinks are strong, and you will definitely see something that you won't see anywhere but in NY!

I love the crowd and the action, had a great the time, and it was really crowded.

Although the place is constantly packed, the Cock seems to be losing its edginess from its previous location. Still fun to hang around and look for guys but sooner or later that gets old.

This East Village dive was packed with hot and frisky Abercrombie types. NYC laws (decency, smoking, you name it, did not seem to apply) The sometimes closed, sometimes dark back room got it into trouble at times over the years. The owners finally closed the Ave A/12th St location and have re-branded their other bar (formerly "the Hole" on 2nd Ave) as "the Cock." Let's hope it fits.
