Primary Stages was founded in 1984 by Casey Childs with a mission of producing new plays and fostering the development of emerging and established playwrights. They have produced the works of top notch favorites like Christopher Durang, Terrence McNally, and Horton Foote. The 2009-2010 season includes new pieces by Cusi Cram, Charlayne Woodard, and Lucinda Coxon.

I just saw the new Cusi Cram show tonight (A Lifetime Burning, featuring Jennifer Westfeldt of Kissing Jessica Stein) and it ROCKED.
