NYTW reaches out to the GLBT community not only with Rent but also because of plays like the Five Lesbian Brothers' production of Oedipus at Palm Springs, Amy Freed's The Beard of Avon, Valhalla, and the adaptation of Michael Cunningham's Flesh and Blood.
