With gay bachelor/ette parties it is fun to start together and then split into 2 separate parties so that the messy bits are a bit more manageable and private. You can do it the other way around too start the evening in 2 parties and then hook up!

Get a party bus and stop at all gay bars and maybe a church or two.

This is a great question. The key is to take it right to the edge of decadence without falling in. :-) Certainly, check out the go-gos @Eastern Bloc. Or, if you prefer more conventional looking twinkie strippers, check out @Splash. @Escuelita, with both go-gos and drag, is a twofer. And if you want to be really risky rent a bank of rooms and towels at the @West Side Club!

To start the evening, you could always go to a show... it's New York after all! Even if he's not a theatre queen, I'll bet you'll find something the whole group will love. It'll keep you busy in the early part of the evening, then you can go out and party in Hell's Kitchen after the show!

When I am in New York, I always stay and party @The Standard. They are located right in the best part of the west side, and you can walk to all the great party spots that aren't already located at your hotel. It's always fun, super hip, and while a bit pricey is well worth the memories!
